RADIUS GROUP SOUTH COAST 4th Quarter 2009 REVIEW

Radius Group Commercial Real Estate is pleased to provide the RADIUS GROUP SOUTH COAST 4th Quarter 2009 REVIEW for the commercial markets of Santa Barbara, Goleta and Carpinteria. Included in the report are the largest leased properties and largest vacancies in each city during the 4th Quarter 2009.

The following is a summary of Vacancy Rates from October 2009 through December 2009.

Santa Barbara
Office Vacancy decreased from 7.2% to 5.3%.
Industrial Vacancy increased from 0.9% to 1.6%.
Retail Vacancy decreased from 2.9% to 2.6%.

Goleta
Office Vacancy decreased from 10.8% to 9.2%.
Industrial Vacancy remained constant at 7.4%.

Carpinteria
Office Vacancy increased from 4.4% to 5.7%.
Industrial Vacancy increased from 13.3% to 14.2%.

Radius Group Posts It's Commercial Real Estate Report

Radius Group Commercial Real Estate is pleased to provide the RADIUS GROUP SOUTH COAST 2nd Quarter 2009 REVIEW for the commercial markets of Santa Barbara, Goleta and Carpinteria. Included in the report are the largest leased properties and largest vacancies in each city during the 2nd Quarter 2009.


The following is a summary of Vacancy Rates from April 2009 to June 2009.

Santa Barbara

Office Vacancy increased from 5.7% to 6.7%.

Industrial Vacancy decreased slightly from 1.0% to 0.9%.

Retail Vacancy increased slightly from 2.3% to 2.7%.


Goleta

Office Vacancy decreased from 12.9% to 11.6%.

Industrial Vacancy increased from 6.1% to 7.6%.


Carpinteria


Office Vacancy increased from 4.5% to 5.3%.

Industrial Vacancy increased from 6.2% to 7.3%

South Coast Vacancy Rates

Santa Barbara

Office Vacancy increased slightly from 2.9% to 3.8%.
Industrial Vacancy remained the same at 0.4% to 0.4%.
Retail Vacancy increased slightly from 1.1% to 1.2%.

Goleta

Office Vacancy increased from 8.6% to 9.0%.
Industrial Vacancy increased from 4.5% to 5.9%.

Carpinteria

Office Vacancy increased from 2.5% to 2.8%.
Industrial Vacancy increased from 2.8% to 8.4%.

Santa Barbara Vacancy Rates

Santa Barbara
Office Vacancy remained constant at 2.6% in the third quarter of 2007.
Industrial Vacancy increased from 0.4% to 0.6%.
Retail Vacancy increased from 1.3% to 1.5%.

Goleta
Office Vacancy decreased from 4.8% to 4.2% over the last 3 months.
Industrial Vacancy decreased from 6.0% to 5.5%

Carpinteria
Office Vacancy decreased from 12.4% to 6.2% in the third quarter of 2007.
Industrial Vacancy decreased from 2.8% to 2.6%.
